Privacy policy
This policy explains how BELGAUM INSTITUTE OF FUTURE TECHNOLOGIES (“we”) handles the personal information you give us through this website. We collect only what we need to respond to course enquiries and brochure requests.
What we collect
When you request a brochure or send an enquiry, we collect:
- your full name, email address and mobile number;
- the course you are interested in and, on a course page, the way of learning you prefer if you choose one; and
- the page you sent the form from, the time of the request and a reference number.
We do not ask for sensitive information such as identity documents, financial details, health, religion or caste. Please do not include such information in your message.
Why we use it
- to respond to your enquiry and send you the course brochure you asked for;
- to contact you by phone, WhatsApp or email about the course you chose, its fees, timings and admissions; and
- to protect the website from spam and abuse.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
How it is handled
Your submission is checked by our server, sent by email to the Belgaum Institute of Future Technologies admissions inbox over an encrypted connection, and saved in BIFT’s admissions system so our team can follow up with you. Only authorised Belgaum Institute of Future Technologies staff can see it. Server logs record technical events (for example, that a request succeeded or failed) without storing the contents of your form.
If you enrol
When you join a course, Belgaum Institute of Future Technologies creates a student account for you. It holds your name, contact details, the batch you are in, your agreed fee, the payments you make and their receipts, messages from your tutor, your certificate and any profile details you add (such as a photo, date of birth, qualification or LinkedIn link). You can see and update most of it yourself in the student portal. Your tutor can see your name, email, mobile number and certificate status, but never your fees or payments. Files such as receipts and certificates are only available to you and Belgaum Institute of Future Technologies staff after signing in.
Your browser downloads brochures directly from this website. The site does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
The map on the contact pages is provided by Google Maps. It loads when you scroll to it, and Google’s own privacy policy applies to that map. Links to WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn and other sites open those services, which have their own policies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after your last contact with us, unless you enrol. For students, we keep account, fee and certificate records for as long as needed to issue receipts and certificates and to meet our legal and tax obligations. You can ask us to delete your details at any time; some fee records may have to be kept where the law requires it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you sent us, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email sales@cubiccode.org or call +91 9108101795. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, where it applies.
